ANOTHER SATURDAY IN THE DOGPILE!

Thanx to all who have come by to check things out!  What would be helpful is your ideas to make this blog more fun!  What do you think is missing?  What would you like to see here?  This is a DOGPILE, so jump on and make yourself heard!!!!


 More tracking and mixing for the Pharaoh this weekend and lots of Dogpilers going into the studio to get their tracks recorded!!!!!  This is gonna be great!!!!

I have been speaking with our web mistress & we are starting the process to get the website up & running!  Look for updates as things progress!!  I will be getting some new stickers printed, so if you  want some, shout it out loud!!!  Great designs to clutter up anything you desire!

It was pointed out by a good friend that the AZ flag is getting synonymous with evil, pea brained, hateful people.  We like to think that after 100 years of statehood AZ has a great history of cool Native Americans, cowboys, outlaws & great roknrollers, so the Copper State flag in our logo is a tip of the cowboy hat to these folk.

FEBRUARY ROUND UP!!

I wasn't able to post anything this weekend as I was in the lab recording & mixing my version of Kevin's song "Hypnotized"!  I'll write this... being the band, producer, engineer & bartender is a lot more work than I imagined!  The cut is coming along nicely tho and I should have it in the can soon!!!


Speakin' of recording!  This coming weekend several contributors are going into the studio to record their Kevin Daly song.  The Asses of Evil doing "1000 Ways", manX doing "Quit Holding Me Baby", Jimmy Pines & Washboard Jere doing a brand new song called "Second to None".  Dave Swafford is also going in the studio soon with Mr Brian Kenny to do "Damn Thing" and Dr Andhi Spath has been working on drum trax for his and Mr Bill Gothe's version of "My Baby Loves the Train"!!!!


I've been posting snippets of some of the demos we have over on the facebook fan page cuz I haven't figured out how to post up music here on the home page!  Go have a listen!

DOGPILE AT THE GRAMMYS!

I couldn't post last Saturdae/Sundae cuz I was working on the Red Carpet at the Grammys!  Big mahalos to original Dogpiler, Danny Bland for giving me another opportunity to be a part of the festivities!!  Was a nice weekend and got to meet some cool new folk and catch up with other friends!


Been working on getting all the orders processed for the NB & GD CDs as well as preparing for the onslaught of submissions by the artists come April 15!  We've had some new additions to the list of contributors including Steve Borick, Chris Orf & Jimmy Pines and Washboard Jere!


Looks like I'll have an open weekend to get in the lab and find that elusive drum sound I've been looking for.  Wish me luck!  I'm trying to figure out a way to give all of you a taste of some of the demos that have come in but I can't seem to be able to post music here directly.  If anyone has any insight, please help a Pharaoh out!

     There are many more artists that are going to be involved, but this is the short list that we have recieved demos or final cuts from!  Some of these fine Kevin Daly penned hits can be heard on the Grave Danger CDs "Welcome to Death City" (available in the store) and "From Beyond" & The Trophy Husbands CDs "Dark & Bloody Ground" & "Walk With Evil".  If you go to Amazon.com I'm sure you can find these fine recordings available.  I myself bought 5 copies of "Dark & Bloody" for under $1 each!!!!  Some of the other songs haven't been released yet, but are fan favorite from years past and days present!
